Cookie Policy

This is a short policy because Rang360 is genuinely light on cookies. We use no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking - only the storage that's strictly necessary to keep the app working.
In short: we don't track you. We use a small amount of first-party browser storage to keep you logged in and to remember your accessibility settings. Nothing is used for advertising or analytics.
What we use, and why
Strictly necessary - keeping you logged in
Supabase Auth (our login provider) stores your session/access token in your browser's localStorage. This is what keeps you signed in between visits. Without it the service can't function, so it's classed as strictly necessary.
Functional - remembering your preferences
Rang360 stores a few first-party values in your browser's localStorage so the app behaves as you'd expect. These are functional, not tracking:

Third-party - only during external flows
Third-party cookies only appear if you use an external flow:
- Google sign-in (once enabled) - Google sets its own cookies during the sign-in redirect, governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Stripe checkout (once paid plans launch) - Stripe sets its own cookies on its hosted checkout, governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
What we don't use
- No advertising or ad-network cookies.
- No analytics or third-party tracking cookies.
- No cross-site profiling of any kind.
Do you need to consent?
Because the only storage we set ourselves is strictly necessary (login) or functional (your own settings), and there is no tracking or marketing, a cookie-consent banner is generally not required under the ePrivacy Regulations. If we ever add analytics or marketing tools, we'll update this policy and introduce consent controls first.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing them will sign you out of Rang360 and reset your local preferences.
