Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Rang360. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. About these terms

Rang360 is provided by Rang360 Ltd ("Rang360", "we", "us"), a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland (company number 820397), with its registered address at Venture Hub, 136 Capel Street, Dublin 1, D01 T2C9. These terms form an agreement between you (the teacher using the service) and us. If you don't agree with them, please don't use Rang360.

2. The service

Rang360 is a classroom planning copilot for Irish primary school teachers. It helps you plan lessons, track curriculum coverage against the Primary Curriculum Framework (NCCA), use ready-made differentiated worksheets, and produce monthly Cuntas Míosúil reports.

3. Who can use Rang360

Rang360 is intended for teachers and educators, who are adults. It is a professional tool and is not designed for, or directed at, children. By using it you confirm you are using it in a professional capacity.

4. Your account

• You sign up with an email and password, and must confirm your email before your account is active.
• You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
• Please give accurate information and keep it up to date. You can edit your details in Settings.
• Tell us at hello@rang360.ie if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

5. Acceptable use

When using Rang360 you agree not to:

• Enter any pupil or student personal data. Rang360 is for curriculum planning, not pupil records, and has no field for pupil data. Never input a child's name, results or personal information.
• Misuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Use the service unlawfully, or to infringe anyone else's rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or copy the service except as the law allows.

Uploaded files

You may upload files to Rang360 only for classroom planning and teaching purposes. You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes copyright, or is inappropriate for a professional education platform.

To keep the platform safe, Rang360 staff may access and review uploaded files where necessary to enforce these terms, and may remove content that breaches them. Unlawful material may be preserved and reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Worksheets & content

Worksheets in Rang360 are served from a pre-generated library, reviewed by teachers before publication, at support, core and extended levels. Nothing is generated by AI while you use the service, and no data is sent to any AI provider when you use a worksheet.

7. Curriculum accuracy

Rang360 is aligned to the NCCA Primary Curriculum Framework and related frameworks, but curriculum content is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and current, but you should verify alignment against official NCCA/Department of Education sources where it matters. Rang360 is independent of, and not endorsed by, the NCCA, the Department of Education or the INTO.

8. Trial, plans & billing

• Free trial: new accounts get a free trial. It currently runs until January 2027, or for 90 days from sign-up, whichever is later. No payment details are needed during the trial.
• When the trial ends, continued access requires a paid subscription.
• Paid plans are not yet live. When they launch, payments will be handled by Stripe on its hosted checkout - your card details never reach our servers. We'll store only a subscription reference and status.
• Plan prices, billing cycle, cancellation and refund terms will be set out clearly at the point of purchase before any paid plan begins.

9. Intellectual property

• Your content stays yours. The lesson content, notes, reflections and resources you create or upload remain your property. You grant us the limited permission needed to host and process them so we can provide the service to you.
• Worksheets: you may use worksheets from the Rang360 library, including copies personalised with your name, for your own teaching. The worksheet library itself remains part of the platform.
• The platform stays ours. Rang360 itself - the software, design, branding and curriculum structuring - belongs to Rang360 Ltd and may not be copied or resold.

10. Privacy & data

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we collect teacher/account data only, never pupil data, and store it in the EU.

11. Warranty disclaimer

Rang360 is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to make it reliable, we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content (including worksheets) will be free of inaccuracies. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rang360 Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Termination

• You can stop using Rang360 at any time and delete your account from Settings.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or misuses the service.
• On deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy (with the limited trial-abuse exception noted there).

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we'll update this page and the "last updated" date, and may notify you by email. Continuing to use Rang360 after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions about these terms? Email hello@rang360.ie.
